Dr. Oltjen is honored to serve the Kansas City community, and is proud to be honored for his work with Smiles Change Lives. Smiles Change Lives is a national nonprofit that helps kids get braces who could not otherwise afford them. Dr. Oltjen works alongside Smiles Changes Lives to offer treatment to many children and teens who suffer unnecessary discomfort and embarrassment from their misaligned teeth.

The Gini Awards honors those who have gone above and beyond to inspire hope, raise self-esteem and help change the lives of thousands of children across the USA and Canada through orthodontic treatment.
